At LifeSeeds International, we believe the “seeds” we plant today will shape the reality of our tomorrow; because “no act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” We are dedicated to meeting the needs of people at home and abroad.

We are a non-profit organization whose main objective is to channel resources to improve the quality of life and integral development of people in vulnerable communities and in situations of economic and social risk.

Our Story

Born in Guatemala City, Edgar and Yadira Castañon and their three children relocated to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, in 2002 to be part of a church-planting team. In 2010, the Lord directed them to move to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to be part of the Life Center Ministries’ community. In 2020, while serving as part of the staff, the Lord impressed upon their hearts to found LifeSeeds International, an outreach ministry that challenges and assists low-income families to become self-sufficient.

Both LifeSeeds International’s and Life Center Ministries’ desire is to see God’s amazing love manifested in the Harrisburg region, resulting in healthy communities where generations thrive. With countless stories of miraculous provision for people and their communities, Edgar and Yadira, are a testimony of what it looks like to walk in divine favor.

They currently lead food outreaches, mission trips, and pastor Life Center en Español. Their desire is to build relationships with local pastors and community leaders, bringing vision and resources to change cities.
