AID PROJECTS

  • DRINKING WATER

Access to clean water is a necessity for drinking, cooking and good hygiene, yet according to a 2021 UNICEF/WHO study, 771 million people lack access to this basic human right.

Access to clean water is a core foundation upon which families and communities can develop economically. Without this basic necessity, families are bound in poverty by disease, as well as the workload of collecting water from extreme distances; these stand as a blockade to education and employment.

  • ROCKET STOVES

Traditionally in many developing nations families in rural areas cook over an open flame within their houses. This style of cooking is not only highly inefficient but can cause a variety of heart and lung diseases. Each year, smoke inhalation from indoor cooking fires kills more people than malaria and AIDS combined.

Requiring around 50% of the wood fuel of an open flame, and dramatically reducing smoke production that is vented outside, Rocket Stoves are a highly affordable, accessible and sustainable solution to this issue.

  • COMPOSTING LATRINES

This remarkable technology provides a sustainable sanitation solution for families in rural communities while simultaneously producing completely safe compost that reduces their reliance on costly fertilizers for their crops.

This combination tackles the prevalence of disease due to lack of hygiene while also boosting a community’s ability to access nutritious food produce.
